Could acupuncture help?

Postby jgibbs36 » Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:08 pm

I was wondering if acupuncture could help my problems.
I have had red eyes everyday for the past 10 years and I have seen two eye specialists who have said there is nothing wrong with my eyes. My body is always overheating even when I am just sitting down and I am always thirsty even when I drink 5+ litres a day.
I have been reading that acupuncture may be able to help.

Could it?'

Thanks.

Hi, I am an acupuncturist and have successfully treated these symptoms before so I would advise going to get some acupuncture :) Get well soon!

Hi, why do you drink so much water?
Did you know that our kidneys filter every 24 hours no less then 100 liters of fluid? Most of it returns to our blood, but you add 2% extra!!!
To «digest» this water kidneys also use a lot of energy, which may make them yang deficient, yin excessive. It makes Urinary Bladder meridian also yang excessive and it goes directly to internal corner of your eye!
Pulse indicates that people who drink water with excess have Triple Warmer, or more correct triple Dryer meridian Yang excessive too as this organ filter all fluids from internal organs and goes to outer corner of your eye!
Be careful with your water

Thanks for all the feedback.
I drink so much water because I am always thirsty. I wouldn't drink any if I wasn't but I gathered that my body needed it because I always get that feeling of thirst.
Should I cut down on my water intake?

You need just visit practitioner who can see you, take your pulse or see your tongue and make a diagnosis and from there advise you what you need to do and what treatment is required

Combination of herbs and acupuncture would help. Sounds like it could be liver fire related, yin deficiency related, blood stagnation oriented. You would have to go see a qualified practitioner and have some diagnostics done like they said. Good luck!

This looks pretty much like a Full-Heat pattern and I agree with Bobwong3 it could be related to the Liver (Liver-Fire blazing). However, it's impossible to say for sure w/o further diagnostic (Tongue, Pulse) so my advice is really to see a good practitioner. And yes, acupuncture could greatly help you  Good luck!

For their study, the researchers conducted a randomized controlled trial of 755 patients with moderate to severe depression from 27 primary care practices in the north of England.....

From what i heard, drinking too much water can be associated with diabetes. But I'm sure it doesn't have to do with your red eyes. Have you gone to a specialist? There are lots of help when you have acupuncture. it can even cure hay fever they say :)

Acupuncture is also one of the potent remedies being used in the medical centers. If you are going through pain on your lower body part, then acupuncture is indeed the ideal option for you. They can also control stress and bring in a beautiful hormonal balance that every person seeks for.
