Pulse Maps in acupuncture pulse diagnosis

Hi everybody
I would like to introduce acupuncture pulse diagnostic method of Pulse Map. Some practitioners are familiar with it. Anyway it isn’t new at all. NanJing book of difficult issues has explained most of acupuncture pulse characteristics that were changed later by LiShiZheng for herbal use. Actually TCM uses LiShiZheng’s ideas of pulse diagnosis, but they are not very useful for acupuncture. Pulse Maps is a key for understanding NanJing and condition of patient. Acupuncture pulse diagnosis even reveals exact points of acupuncture or extraordinary meridians or muscular meridians to use; it is like a language our body talks to us.

This tutorial is about WuXing (five movements) theory applied in pulse diagnosis. There is a common opinion that vessels of liver, for example, has wood movement, lung has metal movement, which is correct when patient is healthy, but any disorders produce change in these movements in real life, so it produce some changes in application of acupuncture treatment.

Different modern authors explained that qun section is placed over point Taiyuan 9 Lung, that contradict original point of Nan Jing
Dr L.Wieger in his book "Chinese Characters" states that character qun is the Chinese inch. The dot represents the place of the wrist where the pulse is felt, which place is an inch distant from the hand. [link removed, violates terms of use policy. please paste information.]
Same name of the position of the index finger is shorter then one qun and has it's name of qun only because it has place one qun under the wrist. It can't be point Taiyuan 9 of lung meridian
