Sources Used

Each Acupuncture point has the sources of reference listed at the bottom of each page under the heading of "References".

Most information and indications has come from the book Acupuncture Point Dynamics and has been used with permission from the author John McDonald. Mr McDonald's method of preparing the work used began with the selection of source materials from Peoples Republic of China, Taiwan, South Korea and France.

Indications (Primary, Seconday, Tertiary and Other)

One of the Chinese books included summary tables, detailing which were the most important indications for each point which are listed as the "Primary and Secondary Indications". The indications which did not appear in the summary tables, but did appear in the body of the text have been referenced as "Tertiary Indications". Indications which were not well corroborated by various sources were left in a category of "Other indications" which appears last in the detailed analysis of each point.
