UB64 (Urinary Bladder 64) - Acupuncture Point Information

Chinese Name: Jinggu
English Name: Capital Bone

Location: On the lateral side of the dorsum of the foot, below the tuberosity of the fifth metatarsal bone, at the junction of the red and white skin.


Yuan-Source point of Bladder Channel


Dispels Wind, clears the brain, calms the heart and the shen.

Primary Indications:

Headache, stiff neck, meningitis, pain in low back and legs.

Secondary Indications:


Tertiary Indications:

Nebula, psychosis, epistaxis, malaria, cardiac diseases, redness of eyes.

Other Indications:

Dizziness, diarrhea, abdominal fullness, does not eat or drink, congestion of urinary bladder, pain in back and sides, cannot bend, stiff body, heavines in head due to cold in the legs, deviation of spinal column, joint pains, spasms of calf, pain in knee and contracture of foot.
