ST35 (Stomach 35) - Acupuncture Point Information
Chinese Name: Dubi or Xiyan
English Name: Calf Nose or Knee Eye
Location: With the knee flexed (to 90 degrees), in the depression below the patella and lateral to the patellar ligament.
Functions:
Removes obstruction from the channels, dispels Wind-Cold (for Bi syndrome in the knee).
Primary Indications:
Pain/swelling and numbness of the knee (Bi syndrome).
Tertiary Indications:
Foot swelling, paralysis of lower limbs (Wei syndrome).
