ST1 (Stomach 1) - Acupuncture Point Information
Chinese Name: Chengqi
English Name: Containg Tears
Location: With the eyes looking straight forward, the point is directly below the pupil, between the eyeball and the infraorbital ridge.
Nature:
Point of the Yang Heel Vessel.
Functions:
Expels wind, brightens the eyes, stops lacrimation.
Indications:
Redness, swelling and pain of the eye, lacrimation, night blindness, twitching of eyelids, facial paralysis.
