SJ9 (Sanjiao 9) - Acupuncture Point Information
Chinese Name: Sidu
English Name: Four Canals
Location: When the hand is supine, this point can be found 5 cun below the olecranon, between the radius and the ulna.
Functions:
Major point for forearm pain (eg: tennis elbow).
Primary Indications:
Sudden loss of voice, deafness, toothache, forearm pain.
Other Indications:
Headache, vertigo, neuraesthenia, paralysis of upper limb, nephritis.
