SJ2 (Sanjiao 2) - Acupuncture Point Information

Chinese Name: Yemen
English Name: Fluid Door

Location: When the fist is clenched, this point is proximal to the margin of the web between the ring and little fingers and distal to the 4th and 5th metacarpophalangeal joint.

Nature:

Ying-Spring point of the Sanjiao channel.

Functions:

Special effects on fainting due to bad odours.

Primary Indications:

Headache, redness of eyes, deafness, sore throat, arm and hand pain.

Secondary Indications:

Malaria.

Tertiary Indications:

Gingivitis.

Other Indications:

Arm swollen and red up to hand, spasms and paralysis of upper arm and forearm, inflammation of dorsum of hand, arthritis of wrist joint, pain and swelling of fingers, hemiplegia, four limbs icy cold due to Yin, vertigo, fear, divagation.
