SJ14 (Sanjiao 14) - Acupuncture Point Information
Chinese Name: Jianliao
English Name: Shoulder Crevice
Location: Posterior and inferior to the acromion, in the depression about 1 cun posterior to Jianyu (CO15).
Functions:
A major local point for the shoulder joint.
Primary Indications:
Heavy sensation of the shoulder with pain in the arm.
Other Indications:
Stiff neck, hypertension, urticaria, headache, hemiplegia, excessive sweating, goitre.
