SI17 (Small Intestine 17) - Acupuncture Point Information
Chinese Name: Tianrong
English Name: Heaven Appearance; Heaven's Contents
Location: Posterior and inferior to the angle of the mandible at the anterior margin of the sternocleidomastoid muscle.
Primary Indications:
Tinnitus, deafness, sore throat.
Tertiary Indications:
Obstruction sensation in throat, swelling of cheek, neck swelling, asthma.
Other Indications:
Severe coughing, trismus, nausea and vomiting, stiff tongue with inability to speak.
