REN15 (Conception Vessel 15) - Acupuncture Point Information

Chinese Name: Jiuwei
English Name: Dove Tail

Location: On the anterior midline, 1 cun below the xiphosternal synchondrosis. Locate the point in supine position with the arms uplifted.

Nature:

Connecting point of the Directing Vessel, Source point of the 5 Yin organs.

Functions:

Calms the Mind, benefits Original Qi.

Indications:

Pain in the cardiac region and the chest, nausea, mental disorders, epilepsy.
