REN11 (Conception Vessel 11) - Acupuncture Point Information

Chinese Name: Jianli
English Name: Building the Interior (Li)

Precautions: Contraindicated for moxibustion during pregnancy.

Location: In the midline of the epigastrium, 3 cun above the umbilicus.

Primary Indications:

Vomiting, abdominal distension.

Secondary Indications:

Oedema.

Tertiary Indications:

Epigastric pain, anorexia, borborygmus, indigestion, heart pain.

Other Indications:

Peritonitis, lower abdominal spasms, cholera.
