KI8 (Kidney 8) - Acupuncture Point Information
Chinese Name: Jiaoxin
English Name: Meeting the Spleen Channel
Location: 0.5 cun anterior to Fuliu (KI7), 2 cun above Taixi (KI3) posterior to the medial border of tibia.
Nature:
Accumulation point of the Yin Heel Vessel
Functions:
Removes obstruction from the channel, stops abdominal pain, removes masses, regulates menstruation.
Indications:
Irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, uterine bleeding, prolapse of uterus, diarrhea, constipation, pain and swelling of testis.
