KI5 (Kidney 5) - Acupuncture Point Information
Chinese Name: Shuiquan
English Name: Water Spring
Location: One cun directly below Taixi (KI3) in the depression of the medial side of the tuberosity of the calcaneum.
Nature:
Accumulation point.
Functions:
Benefits urination, promotes circulation of blood, stops abdominal pain, regulates the uterus.
Indications:
Amenorrhea, irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, prolapse of uterus, dysuria, blurring of vision.
