HT1 (Heart 1) - Acupuncture Point Information
Chinese Name: Jiquan
English Name: Extreme Spring
Location: In the centre of the axilla, on the medial side of the axillary artery. Locate with the arm raised.
Primary Indications:
Cardiac pain, pain in ribs/sides.
Tertiary Indications:
Dry retching, thirst, scrofula, elbow & arm cold & painful, shoulder joint restriction, jaundice.
Other Indications:
Depression, groaning, paralysis of four limbs, insensitivity of the four limbs, stench in the axilla.
