GB9 (Gall Bladder 9) - Acupuncture Point Information
Chinese Name: Tianchong
English Name: Penetrating Heaven
Location: Directly above the posterior border of the auricle, 2 cun within the hairline, about 0.5 cun posterior to Shuaigu (GB8).
Removes obstructions from the channel, subdues rising Qi, eliminates interior Wind, calms spasms, calms the mind.
Headache, epilepsy, swelling and pain of the gums, convulsion.
Point indications have been used from the book Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion.
