DU14 (Governing Vessel 14) - Acupuncture Point Information

English Name: Big Vertebra
Location: Between the spinous process of the 7th cervical vertebra and the 1st thoracic vertebra, approximately at the level of the shouderl
Functions:
Relieves exterior conditions, relieves exterior conditions and opens the Yang, regulates the Yang channels, clears the brain and calms the Shen, clears the mind, reduces fever.
Primary Indications:
Cough, neck stiffness.
Secondary Indications:
Epilepsy, malaria.
Tertiary Indications:
Febrile diseases, bone-steaming fever, asthma, stiffness of back, common cold, fullness of chest and ribs, epistaxis, jaundice, lack of energy, aesthenia.
Other Indications:
Heat stroke, psychosis, hysteria, headache, blood diseases, eczema, hemiplegia, pain in back of shoulder, congested throat, 7 types of contusion, teeth of upper jaw especially the incisors are always very dry, osseous tuberculosis with Yang symptoms and dryness of upper incisors.
