DU12 (Governing Vessel 12) - Acupuncture Point Information
Chinese Name: Shenzhu
English Name: Body Pillar
Location: Below the spinous process of the 3rd thoracic vertebra.
Primary Indications:
Cough, asthma, pain and stiffness of lower back.
Secondary Indications:
Epilepsy.
Tertiary Indications:
Furuncles, infantile convulsions, febrile diseases, mental diseases.
Other Indications:
Night fright, infantile malnutrition, diarrhoea, common cold, gastric cancer, chest and back pain, aphasia due to apoplexy.
