CO16 (Colon 16) - Acupuncture Point Information
Chinese Name: Jugu
English Name: Great Bone
Location: In the upper aspect of the shoulder, in the depression between the acromial extremity and the scapular spine.
Functions:
Disperses congealed blood and clears the channels.
Primary Indications:
Pain in shoulder and arm.
Tertiary Indications:
Scrofula, goitre, spitting blood, convulsions.
Other Indications:
Excitement, pain in upper teeth, post-traumatic bad blood (clots) in the chest.
