CO10 (Colon 10) - Acupuncture Point Information
Chinese Name: Shousanli
English Name: Hand Three Li
Location: On the forearm, 2 cun distal to Quchi (CO11).
Functions:
Lowers nervous excitement and stimulates blood flow to the seat of illness, enhancing action of the leucocytes.
Primary Indications:
Swelling of submandibular region and cheek, upper limb paralysis.
Secondary Indications:
Spitting blood.
Tertiary Indications:
Abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea, toothache, shoulder and arm pain, scrofula, facial paralysis, hemiplegia, loss of voice.
Other Indications:
Indigestion, ulcer, mastitis, neuraesthenia, ding boil, head wind, elbow cannot be extended, pain radiating from shoulder to navel, pain control.
